Define your Goals

Before you plan any training you should always first determine your goals.

We will begin by making a statement –

For a goal to be effective it should be clearly defined.

Poorly defined goals may lead to unfocused training and thus to less than optimal performance in competition.

It is worth considering these two models to help determine your goals :

  1. A.I.M.
  2. S.M.A.R.T.
